Care Guide

– Use the recommended cleaner to remove dirt, stains, or residues. Always allow the surface to dry fully before applying any product.
– Use a foam brush, applicator pad, or polishing machine depending on the product type. Apply 1–2 thin coats as directed, allowing proper drying time in between.
– Reapply every 3–12 months depending on exposure to sunlight, moisture, or wear. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive tools that could damage the finish.
– Always test on a small hidden area first. Choose the product finish (matte, gloss, satin) that suits your surface and style.

Semco Clear Coat Gloss often has the analogy that it is a bit like sunscreen. It provides an additional layer of protection.

When to use Clear Coat Gloss: perfect for teak table tops you want to protect from food and drink spills. We highly recommend it in Australia as the additional UV protection keeps your teak looking better for longer.

Although we call it a "Gloss," it's more of a satin finish. It's not a varnish; it soaks into the teak to give it that real timber feel.

Semco Clear Coat applies in exactly the same way as the Teak Sealer. Every single customer who uses the Clear Coat Gloss swears by its effectiveness.

One thing to note: You can't apply the Sealer over the top of the Clear Coat, but you can apply Clear Coat over the top of the Sealer (and we recommend you do!).

A 1 Litre tin of Semco Cleartone Teak Sealer covers approximately 5 square metres or a 1.2m table with 6 chairs. 

4 Litre Semco Teak Sealer covers approximately 20 square metres. 

If your teak is in a high-exposure environment, reapply Semco Teak Sealer every three to six months. It can be reapplied straight over the top of previous coats.

Is the shipping free?

Yes — shipping is free on all orders over $75.

When will I receive my item?

The cutoff time for next day dispatch is 7pm Sunday through Thursday. We will always try to reduce the dispatch time if possible.

Can I change or return my item?

If you want to change a product into another model, strap color etc., please contact us so we are able to reserve the new item in our stock immediately. You are always entitled to an exchange or refund within 30 days after you have received your package, as long as the item has not been used.
